House rules

We hope you have a lovely, relaxing stay. These few house rules help keep the cabins, woodland and shared areas safe and enjoyable for everyone. Please read them alongside our booking terms and conditions and the instructions provided in your cabin.

1. Arriving and leaving

Check-in is from 3.00 pm and check-out is by 10.00 am. When you leave, please lock up and return your key to the key safe.

2. Guests and visitors

The number of overnight guests must not exceed the occupancy shown on your booking confirmation. Please ask us before inviting any visitors to the site. All visitors must leave by 10.00 pm and may not use the hot tubs. Overnight visitors are not permitted without prior agreement. You are responsible for anyone visiting you during your stay.

3. Children

Children must be supervised by an adult, particularly around the hot tubs, fires, log burners and in the woodland.

4. Smoking and vaping

Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the cabins or around the site, except in the car parking area. Please dispose of cigarette ends and other rubbish safely, making certain everything is fully extinguished.

5. Hot tubs

Please follow the hot tub instructions provided in your cabin. In particular:

  • Each hot tub has a maximum capacity: five people at Tryfan and Moel Siabod; two people at Y Foel Las and Garn Prys.

  • Children under five must not use the hot tub; older children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

  • Check the water temperature before getting in. The recommended bathing temperature is 35–38°C. Leave the hot tub if you feel unwell; seek medical advice if a health condition may affect safe use.

  • Shower before use. Do not add bath products or other substances to the water, and leave the chlorine dispenser floating in the tub.

  • No glassware around the hot tub. Avoid alcohol before or during use.

  • Use the protective gauntlets when adding wood, and secure the lid with its safety straps when the tub is not in use. Please keep noise to a considerate level at all times.

6. Fires, barbecues and outdoor cooking

Please use only the designated firepits, barbecues and cooking equipment provided. Guests must not bring their own barbecues or use candles, fireworks or sky lanterns anywhere on site – the surrounding woodland is particularly vulnerable to fire. Never leave a fire unattended and ensure it is fully extinguished when you finish.

We may prohibit outdoor fires when weather conditions or an increased fire risk make their use unsafe.

7. Noise and music

Please keep noise to a minimum, especially between 10.00 pm and 8.00 am. If playing music outside, keep the volume low enough that it cannot be heard from other cabins.

8. Pets

We are unable to accommodate pets. Please do not feed any wild animals or encourage them inside the cabin. We do have a farm dog, miniature schnauzer called Donna. She knows her way around and will make her way back home when she’s ready, please do not feed her or invite her inside the cabin.

9. Leaving the cabin tidy

Please leave your cabin clean and tidy and remove food and personal belongings. General rubbish and recycling bins are behind each cabin. We would appreciate it if you could strip the beds and wash and put away used crockery, although this is not essential.

10. Ash and used logs

There is no need to empty ash from the fires before check-out – we will take care of it. If you need to clear ash during your stay, please use the ash buckets provided. Never throw ash or used logs onto the grass or surrounding land.

11. Breakages and faults

Accidents happen. Please let us know promptly if anything breaks or if you notice a fault, so we can put it right.

12. Parking

Please park in the designated spaces. Up to two cars are permitted per cabin; if you need room for more, please contact us in advance.

13. Electric vehicle charging

Electric vehicles may only be charged at the designated on-site charging stations. Charging vehicles inside the cabins or from any cabin electrical sockets is strictly prohibited. The charging facilities operate through the Monta app: scan the QR code at the charging station and pay directly through the app.

14. Woodland, privacy and drones

You are welcome to enjoy the woodland, but please do not climb the boundary fence – there is an electric fence on the other side to keep farm animals out. Please respect other guests’ privacy and avoid walking around their cabins. Drones may only be used with our prior permission.

15. Responsibility for guests and children

The lead guest making the booking is responsible for all members of their party and any visitors during their stay. All children under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, particularly around hot tubs, fires and outdoor areas.

Thank you for helping us look after this special place. Enjoy your stay!
