Gwern Hywel Isaf Farm

Porth Eryri Glamping sits on the grounds of a 40-acre working farm called Gwern Hywel Isaf on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Pentrefoelas on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.

We are situated around 10 minutes drive away from the popular tourist destination of Betws-y-coed, known as the “Gateway to Snowdonia”.  Porth Eryri translates directly to Gateway to Snowdonia, and we named ourselves as such due to our positioning with magnificent views of the famous mountain ranges nearby.

Hand Crafted Forest Cabins

Our luxury cabins are hand-built right here in Wales, using the finest sustainable materials and products.  All pods are split-level with an upper hayloft bedroom space, and have an outdoor decked area with hot tub.

Our cabins all offer plenty of privacy in a beautiful woodland location, and can accommodate between 2 and 6 people.

OUR CABINS

With Gwern Hywel Isaf enjoying magnificent views over the mountain ranges of Snowdonia, we decided that Porth Eryri Glamping would name our forest cabins after some of the mountains that lie so close.  As our numbers increase we will continue to bring you new beautiful names which may inspire you to visit the peaks in question.

For now we have two units, and these are named TRYFAN (pronounced “Tru”(as in “truck”)-“van”) and MOEL SIABOD (“M”-“oil” “Sha”-“bod”).

PIZZA OVENS

All of our glamping units are also equipped with combination barbeque, pizza oven, fire pits for your al fresco dining enjoyment.  Just make sure you  remember your pizza toppings!

HOT TUBS

Our Siabod & Tryfan cabins both enjoy the luxury of wood-fired hot tubs situated on the decked area outside.  Sit back with a glass of wine, relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.

LOG BURNERS

What better way to enjoy your cosy cabin on an autumn evening, than to sit in comfort in front of a roaring log fire?  All of our properties are heated by log burners for your comfort.
