Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Porth Eryri Glamping.  When you make this booking, you are entering an agreement with us, so please read our terms and conditions carefully and contact us if you have any questions.


Booking and payments

  • You must be 18 or over to make a booking.
  • deposit of 30% will be taken at the time of booking.  The remaining balance will be due 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
  • Once deposit is received, you will receive a confirmation email with booking details confirmed.  Please inform us if you do not receive this email within 48 hours.
  • Once deposit has been paid, the full balance will be payable 6 weeks prior in advance to your arrival date.  A reminder email will be sent to you before this date.  If the final payment is not paid by the due date, Porth Eryri Glamping reserves the right to retain your deposit and re-let the accommodation.  
  • If your stay is less than 6 weeks from the time of booking, full payment will be credited at time of booking.
  • Bookings are deemed provisional until you receive email confirmation.

Cancellation and Insurance

  • Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable.
  • If you need to cancel, please contact us immediately.  For this reason, Porth Eryri Glamping strongly suggest you take out cancellation/holiday insurance
  • All payments are non-refundable within 4 weeks of check in date.
  • If booking is made within 4 week of check in date, all payments are non-refundable.
  • It may, if you wish, be possible to change the dates of your holiday, if there is availability. Rearrangements cannot be made less than 4 weeks prior to the commencement of your original booking.
  • If for any reason beyond the owner’s control, the property is not available on the dates booked, all charges paid in advance by guests will be refunded in full (but guests have no further claim against the owners).
  • We cannot accept any obligation or liability for any alteration or cancellation caused by civil strife, strikes, sickness, bad weather, technical transportation problems, or other circumstances.
  • Porth Eryri Glamping cannot accept any liability for cancellation due to illness or Covid-19, therefore we cannot process a refund.  We heavily advise that you take out holiday insurance which will cover you in the event of illness.
  • We cannot give refunds or move bookings because of poor weather. We are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control.
  • There will be no refunds given for early departure for any reason whatsoever.

Security Deposit

  • A security deposit of £150 per cabin will be pre-authorised on your card before arrival.  
  • The security deposit will be held against the card you paid with, and will be taken 1-3 days before arrival.  This sum is ‘held’ against your card, it’s not drawn, then when you leave providing there are no major issues it will be released back again.  
  • We do not charge for minor breakages, we hold this in case of serious damage, significant deep cleaning or mess.  
  • We aim to be as fair as possible, and rarely charge guests any or all of their security deposit.  The security deposit is to cover any costs to Porth Eryri Glamping for damage or breakages and extra cleaning required after your stay.
  • The £150 pre-authorisation will be held from your check-in day and released within 24 hours of check-out.  It may take the bank up to 10 working days to remove the pre-authorisation.  

Amendments and special requests

  • Should you wish to make a change to your confirmed booking, this is possible up to 4 weeks prior to your holiday start date.
  • It may, if you wish, be possible to change the dates of your holiday, if there is availability. Rearrangements cannot be made less than 4 weeks prior to the commencement of your original booking.
  • We have a 3 (weekend) and 4 (midweek) nights minimum stay policy.  We can offer a discount code for shorter stays during winter months (subject to availability and during low season only).  Please contact us to discuss availability.
  • Group bookings – booking of multiple cabins can be made direct on the website.  Contact us if you need any assistance.  Please note that a £150 security deposit will be needed per cabin booked.

Damages, breakages and cleaning

  • Please take care when staying at our cabins.  You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents.
  • Please let us know if anything gets broken so we can replace it for our next guest. We will only charge for replacements in exceptional circumstances, as we expect a degree of wear and tear.  If damage is directly attributable to the guest, then we reserve the right to request payment towards costs of repair/replacement.  Porth Eryri Glamping reserves the right to deduct this payment from your security deposit or invoice guests following their stay.
  • For extra cleaning: Guests are reminded that they must leave the property in a clean and tidy state, all items must be dried and put away, remove all food items and personal belongings.  If the accommodation unit is not left in an acceptable condition and Porth Eryri Glamping has to carry out extra cleaning above and beyond what they would normally expect this will be charged at £15 per individual staff hour.  Porth Eryri Glamping reserves the right to deduct this payment from your security deposit or invoice guests following their stay.


Porth Eryri reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking, without a statement of reasons at any time.
In unexceptional circumstances, and if cancelling your booking for reasons beyond our control, we would offer you alternative accommodation or an alternative date.



  • We accept no liability for accident, loss of property or personal injury whilst on your stay. 
  • Whilst you’re staying in a safe and peaceful area, please never leave valuables unattended including in your accommodation.  We accept no liability for theft, loss or damage to your belongings that may arise from your stay. Please make sure you have adequate holiday insurance. 


Check in and out

Please note that check in time is Monday and Friday between 3pm and 11pm on day of arrival.

Guests are asked to vacate the accommodation by 10am on departure day.



We have a strictly NO PETS policy.   Should this rule not be adhered to, guests will be asked to leave the property with no refund given.



No smoking (including e-cigarettes) is permitted in any of the glamping accommodation. You will be charged the full £150 security deposit if there is any evidence of smoking.


Hot Tub

Guests who want to use the hot tub must read the detailed instructions provided in the Welcome Pack before using it. The hot tubs can be easily damaged if used incorrectly. You agree to pay for any damage caused.  The wood-fired hot tub is a private hot tub included in your stay.  We want you to safely enjoy your hot tub use whilst staying with us.  Hot tub safety includes the following:

  • DO NOT light a fire in the hot tub until the tub is completely filled with water.  Making a fire before filing with water will cause serious expensive damage and guests will be invoiced for this damage.
  • Use safety straps on the lid when the hot tub is not in use
  • We use chlorine tablets in a dispenser to maintain the water, please leave this floating in the water at all times.
  • Hot tub is not suitable for children under 5 years old
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • Anyone with medical conditions should check safety first
  • Check water temperature before getting in hot tub
  • Hot tub hygiene requires all users to have a shower before getting into the tub and to not add any products to the water. If the hot tub safety and hygiene advice is not followed, we may need to ask you to stop using the hot tub.  
  • We provide a starter supply of wood free of charge but you may need to purchase more wood if you use it heavily.  We can provide more wood at a fee (cash only).
  • In extremely cold weather the use of the hot tub may not be available due to the outdoor freezing pipes.  We will always do our best to make it possible for guests to use, but no refund can be given in these cases.
